Booked a standard double room with a writing desk, a phone, and an iron. The location was great - adjacent to Gateshead and Newcastle and the actual pub.

Wonderful and clean hotel, greatly enjoyed it. Our standard queen room was brilliant with good view. The location was fantastic - short walk to the Angel of The North and Beamish museum.

I loved 1 night in this property. It had all needed for short stay in Gateshead. The most important was the staff - pleasant and polite people. Generally everything was great, even so the bathroom was not very clean. The location was fab, close to fields and the Angel of The North, the actual pub and Newcastle and surrounding areas. The main bar was a delightful surprise.

The location was marvellous, in restaurant on second day, the view was good, too.

The hotel's location was incredible for everything I could possibly need. The restaurant was pleasant which had a varied menu and good quality food here, I had delightful dishes.

Enjoyed my really good stay for Scotish road trip. Its location was handy and easy, right by the city centre, and Newcastle and surrounding areas. The main bar was welcoming!

Stunning room, comfortable beds, best bathroom. Pleasant views and excellent facilities. Handy location on a warm sunny evening could be enjoyed even more in the beer garden in a very nice area.

I recently had a brilliant stay at a hotel in Gateshead that I can't wait to return to. The location was ideal for visiting Beamish Museum and it was also very convenient for exploring other attractions like the Angel of the North and the Millennium Bridge. The hotel itself is situated in an old stable block at the back, which added a unique touch to the experience. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and well-appointed, with a rare commodity in hotel rooms - a couch! The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, making me feel welcomed and ensuring that all my needs were met. The basic amenities were all there and the bed was really comfortable.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I had no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel was in an easy location just next door to the pub as well as the bays for the accommodation.

Location: the hotel was close enough to the restaurant and both Newcastle. Also, a steel sculpture was 2 km away.
